This old home, located just South of Caledon, Ontario, is in such a poor state of affairs that one wonders what is holding the four walls together! It is representative of the typical early Ontario farmhouse, although it is much larger than most.

An image of the once prominent front gated entrance.

A side view of the front.

A view of the side of the house, showing the once prominent exterior.

An image of the opposite side of the house.

What I thought to be a really cool find, the old antiquated hydro breaker box still resides on the outside (yes the outside) of the house. It's an old Westinghouse product, once made in Canada.

Looking in through the house through one of the exterior windows. Obviously it was very unsafe to venture inside.

Another window view reveals that the entire first floor has caved into the basement level. Through the door is what once used to be the bathroom. Notice that a piece of the porcelain toilet lies on the floor below.

A detail shot of the bathroom.

The stairway leading up is hanging on precariously by the adjoining walls only.

Watch your step....

Another interior shot from the outside.

The living room couch, which now rests upside down in the basement.

A view of the grand room.

An old plaster ceiling sconce.

The old barn at the rear of the property. The remaining days of this house as it stands are certainly numbered.
