Pictures of Abandoned Houses in Ontario
Welcome to The Heritage Photography Project, a collection of photographs that profile and capture abandoned historic houses in Ontario, Canada. This is an ongoing and extensive project, started in the year 2000. In the face of rapid change and development, I feel that it is important to recognize our past, and the people who built the foundations for our life today. Many of these properties will soon disappear, either by natural decay or flattened by man. Some houses on this site are already gone. Many of these homes suggest the presence of spirits, and are haunted by ghosts for the past. Others are mere empty shells.
