What always intrigued me about this little structure was the crazy angle that it rested on. It looked like a stiff wind would have blown it over. Surprisingly, it sat at this tilted angle for years, but sadly has fallen under the weight of this years snowfalls. I shot these images last winter. A recent inspection of the site reveals the roof resting on the ground along with a few broken timbers. After years of standing, it is easy to see how these sites can literally vanish in such a short period of time, taking its' history along with it.

An almost surrealistic angle!

Until I visited the site, I always assumed that this was just a shed, but it turned out to be someone's little house! Look through the doorway, and you will see the discarded bathtub.

The house once had electricity. Indoor plumbing consisted of an old urinal mounted to the side wall, which drained onto the ground at the side of the house!

Sad to say, this little shack and it's abundance of character have finally succumbed to the forces of nature and gravity.
