I had driven past this site on many occasions. It always intrigued me, but I never felt right about stopping. This site is located just off a busy highway outside of a small town. It is surrounded by active farms and growing land. Finally my curiosity got the best of me early one Sunday morning....

From the shape and design of this trailer, and the circular port style window on the door, I'd estimate it to be about 40-50 years old. Behind the trailer sits a much older wooden shingled shed.

I thought that this shed was pretty neat looking. Very old construction.

A closer shot of the trailer. A spooky essence was abundant

An old well pump. My best guess is that the site was home to a farm many years ago. For whatever reason, the original house is long gone, with no sign anywhere of even a foundation, although there are hints of a barns foundation on the site.

An interior shot of the trailer indicates that it was once lived in. Old empty food containers and furnishings gave the impression of a home that once was. I think of the long cold winters huddled inside an aluminum travel trailer. Some of the wooden firnishings were quite old. There was even an old but weathered art deco style vanity, not shown in the image.
